24 hours a day, 7 days a week

What are the visiting hours?

Generally, visitation occurs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Sunday but is subject to cancellation, without notice, by the Jail Supervisor. The jail encourages all visitors to call prior to visiting for approval.

All visitors will be searched prior to being allowed to enter the visitation rooms. No children under the age of 17 are allowed and children are not allowed to be left unattended in the jail lobby at any time.

Phone calls:

Limited free phone calls can be made once the booking process has been completed. An inmate also may make collect phone calls from inside the cell block.

Class C misdemeanor warrants from other cities:

If someone is arrested on a Class C misdemeanor issued from another city, the city of Arlington will notify that city that they are holding them. The issuing city has approximately 24 hours, once notified, to pick up the inmate. If the issuing city fails to pick the inmate up, the inmate will be released and the warrant will be reinstated.
